Gang,
I just received a 17" G5 iMac that I ordered (with an educational
discount), and I am seriously thinking I'd rather get a 20" instead.
The seal has been broken on the box, but the computer has yet to be set
up.

I can't exchange it because it was custom-configured. I'm willing to
sell it for my cost, plus the cost of shipping if necessary. Located
in San Diego county, CA.

17" 1.9GHz G5 iMac
1 GB RAM
250 GB HD
incl. Keyboard, Mighty Mouse and SuperDrive

I paid $1365 (includes the $8 recycling fee) + $111.96 tax
Total = $1476.96

If I don't get any bites on it by this weekend, I will likely go ahead
and set it up to use.

Supposed to pay for recycling the CRT. You can send your thanks to

AH! Another tax. They get real creative with naming taxes other things
so you don't see how much they take overall.

My phone bill is covered with taxes by other names.

I bet if I computed it up I pay about 66% taxes every year.

and they wonder why God invented hell?
