I have just gotten a G5. As you all probably know the G 5 doesn't boot
into OS 9, BTW so did I. However is there any way to use F/A Korea on
this machine? If so how?

You can either run it in Classic mode (at the risk of generating a kernal
panic, which happened to me once), or you can wait until Graphic Simulations
relases F/A-18 Operation Iraqi Freedom for OS X, coming Real Soon Now for a
number of months. http://graphsim.com/games-oif.html

there's an graphics driver for it so you can run it in classic. but
those who've flown F/A-18, didn't enjoy it.

OK, I'm lazy, I read it in the read me of the drive, and I forgot where
that read me is. Only got that driver cos I wanted to get Falcon to work
on OSX.

What's your experience w/ F/A-18 and OSX?

Ahh. I didn't realize you meant that, I thought you meant F/A-18 itself.

I found the driver name, it's used in the OS9 extensions folder:
3DfxGlideLib2.x

I remember it's a project to run games properly in OSX that require
3DFx-style graphics.

According to the readme (which I still can't find) Falcon 4.0 drivers
(no punt intended) could fly it in OSX w/o having to revert to software
rendering. However F/A-18 drivers were not so lucky. But... it's an
ongoing development. I really would like to fly Falcon under OSX cos
faster Mac hardware can only run on OSX.
