Post subject: ACARD RAID / Panther problems
Archived from groups: comp>sys>mac>misc (more info?)

I have been running on a QS/722 under Jaguar for over a year and had no
problems with my SIIG ATA/133 RAID card (same chipset, drivers, etc. as
the ACARD one). I finally got around to upgrading to Panther and had
severe issues. The RAID card isn't stable in either strip or mirror
mode, or even non-raid mode if I have two drives attached. Right now, I
just have one drive attached and it seems ok in a non-raid mode.

Can anyone shed any light? Had this kind of problem? I did download and
run the latest firmware installer, but I think it was the same as I
already had.

Thanks!
