From the looks of things, NS 7 and Moz 1.3.1 on my Mac (OS 9.2.2) have
the ability to harvest AOL mail, assuming ofcourse you have an AOL
account.
I have been successful in setting the programs to send mail via AOL.
However I cannot seem to get mail from my AOL screen name mail box.
It appears that the IMAP server is hard-coded in as
"imap.mail.aol.com" at port 143.
However references on other web sites suggest the proper setting is
"imap.aol.com" (skipping 'mail').
It appears that the right file to edit under NS 7 is "aol.rdf" in the
ISP's folder.
Can someone confirm? It seems all I might need to do is edit that and
resave it as a plain text file.
Now, I am running Mox 1.3.1 and NS 7 on the same system but in
seperate folders (of course) so I'm wondering if this will be enough.
If not what file has to be edited in Moz 1.3.1? Its similar to Moz
1.2.1. I cannot seem to determine what has to happen so I am wondering
if they are sharing this "ISP" folder somehow?
Seems ot me if I can send, I should be able to receive but I am
getting an error that "imail.mail.aol.com" is not found.
