ASUS Eee Pad Transformer to share videos to DLNA compliant media players


The Netgear NTV550 Ultimate HD Media Player Supports DLNA(UPNP).DLNA was created so that all the different devices, media players, TV, bluray players, game consoles, picture frames, mp3 players could share media in the home. Most of these devices do not support samba, logins, security or special file systems. So DLNA solves that problem.

ASUS Eee Pad Transformer – ready for media streaming (videos, music, pictures)!
With preloaded streaming app MyNet, the Eee Pad is ready to play streaming media including videos, music and pictures. Streaming technology makes it possible for us to watch movies on Eee Pad Transformer without downloading a copy to the tab.



The following short guide shows you how to play ASUS Eee Pad Transformer movies to Netgear NTV550 for watching Eee Pad movies on HDTV.
1. Make sure the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer and Netgear NTV550 are connected to the same local area network (your home network). And make sure your Netgear NTV550 is on and in connection with HDTV (via HDMI cable or ACR A/V cable).

2. Select and start up MyNet on ASUS Eee Pad Transformer. Select your Eee Pad on the left (source) and Netgear NTV550 on the top right corner (target).



3. Switch the file type to Videos on the top and select the movie clip you’d like to play.

4. It takes a few seconds to buffer before Netgear NTV550 start to play ASUS Eee Pad Transformer movies. Now you’re ready to watch ASUS Eee Pad Transformer movies on HDTV.
