I just updated to 10.4.3 and, upon reboot, I found that my Address Book
has been completely erased! This affects iChat, which is now listing my
buddies by their screen names instead of by their full names that had
been in my address book; it also affects Mail, which no longer allows
me to type a few letters of a person's name and have his e-mail address
pop up from the Address Book.

Is there any fix for this? Any place where the AB might have been
backed up? I am hoping the backup on my iPod nano will fix it
automatically when I next sync... hopefully it won't just erase what's
on the Nano!

I synced my iPod and it brought all my address book data back, so I'm
not sure what was in ~/library/application support/addressbook...

Anyway, problem solved. I wonder if this was just me, or if other
upgraders experienced the same bug?

Aha... I just remembered, the computer froze up after I installed the
upgrade but before I restarted. That probably messed up the settings.

Thanks for your help!
