Archived from groups: comp>sys>mac>apps (more info?)

Out of the blue, I'm now unable to start up Acrobat Pro 6.0 without
receiving the following error message (followed by shutdown):

The currently selected language resources are not supported by the
current version of Adobe Acrobat. Please reselect the language in the
International System Preferences panel.

I've selected, deselected and reselected the languages that I've always
had selected in the System Prefs... but there is no change.

I've tried moving the prefs to the trash and restarting, but still no
go...

Any ideas here? I can't find any record of this problem on MacFixit.

Tia,

I had the exact same problem. According to Adobe, 6.0 is not compatible
with OSX.3. The have an update on their site. Unfortunately, the updater
crashed in the middle of updating with an error and can not be rerun.
Messed up, isn't it?<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
