Post subject: Adobe Acrobat won't print.
Archived from groups: comp>sys>mac>apps (more info?)

I have Adobe Acrobat Pro running on a dual 450 Mhz PowerPC G4 with OSX 10.3.6.

I'd been trying to do a Screen-Capture keystrokes operation which worked
OK (shift-command-3 etc.) but when I tried to print out the pdf result I
got the spinning color wheel never-neverland lock up sign on the Acrobat
program.

Had to go to 'Force Quit' to get out of Acrobat.

I repeated the printing procedure and got the same result. I used Macaroni
to Repair Permissions and do the other Unix maintenance tasks then tried
again, with the same spinning wheel result.

I downloaded a fresh Adobe Acrobat Reader program and tried again. Got the
spinning wheel again even with the new Adobe program.

Then I used the Apple 'Preview' program to look at the pdf file of my
screen print. It worked OK, so I tried to print out the result -- it
worked fine.

I don't see any other mentions of this Acrobat problem anywhere,I'll
appreciate ideas on how to fix it.

Wally O.
