Yes, I'm nitpicking! ;-)

I've installed Adobe's Creative Suite 3 and am surprised that each of the
applications when placed in the dock are labeled such as "Adobe Photoshop
CS3" and "Adobe Illustrator CS3", except for Dreamweaver which is just
labeled "Dreamweaver" and not "Adobe Dreamweaver CS3". One would think that
Adobe's QA would ensure consistency.

Don't forget Adobe recently purchased Macromedia, the previous author
of DreamWeaver. After an aquisition like that, most development teams
are highly stressed and working feverishly to meet new & old demands.
It's probably just a simple matter of priorities.

But Flash was also a one time Macromedia product and the icon is labeled
"Adobe Flash CS3". But I'll agree that the development teams were likely
under lots of pressure.

All things aside, I will admit to being quite impressed with CS3.

Indeed. Adobe's integration of Macromedia is not complete, and there
have been a few rough spots along the way.

I have a quite a bit of Adobe software, and I've had smooth sailing
dealing with Adobe over the years, but there have been some rough spots
in the past year or so, including (I learned after a lengthy phone
wait) the inability to install my CS3 Design Premium upgrade in the
normal manner due to the "unusual" upgrade path I had taken to get from
the original CS to 2.3 Premium Plus (even though I consistently
followed the upgrade path that Adobe offered me.) CS3 would not accept
the serial number from my CS2 2.3 Premium, and I had to get a special
code from Adobe to enter where the second serial number would have
gone. I will be installing CS3 on a second machine as well, and Adobe
says that I will have to go through the same procedure again -- phone
for a special code.

I never upgraded from CS2 to CS2.3, having upgraded Acrobat independently
prior to the CS2.3 offer. When I upgraded from CS2 to CS3 a couple days ago
everything went without a hitch. Interestingly I had to enter my CS2 serial
number which was an upgrade from CS but not the CS number.

I did find it somewhat amusing that there was not one mention in the
packaging and documentation of CS3 that identified it as an upgrade. It
turned out that the "upgrade" status was embedded in the serial number.
