Archived from groups: comp>infosystems>www>browsers>mac, others (more info?)

Sometimes users recieve the following error message at our company
site: "www.mysite.com has sent an incorrect or unexpected message.
Error code: -12263". This happens only on Mac-clients (OS9 - Netscape
7) over a HTTPS-connection.

Server Configuration: Windows XP SP1 - MySQL 3.23.49 - PHP 4.3.1 -
Apache 1.3.26 - OpenSSL 0.96d

Anyone got any idea what the reason of this error could be and how to
resolve it?

Regards,
Johan

I had written this URL only as an example. I didn't was the intention
to provide the real URL. By the way this error isn't happening on the
first page, but randomly.

Its rather difficult to fault find a problem unless you provide specific examples, like the real url it occurs on.

Even if it is random, or appears to be such, there may be a factor within the coding of the page that is contributing. Or it may have to do with going from one specific page to another.

The first step in resolving a problem is to recreate it (if possible) so as to be better able to understand the dynamics of what is causing the problem.
