Post subject: Archive emails to open almost anywhere
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>internet>mail>mac (more info?)

I would really like to archive my old emails to a CD but i would like
for it not to be program specific (i.e. I NEED outlook express to open
it). And I just switched to apple and I would like to be able to open
the CD on either mac or PC. Is this too much to ask? What text
format is the most easily read by other computers and will be around
for a while?

Idealy I would love to have a CD titled "2003 emails" and be able to
sort through them by date, sender, etc. like you can do in your
hotmail inbox and so on. Possible?

Also, i would like to print out my emails correspondences from last
year to have record of them all. Has anyone done anything like? any
advice as I take on this task?

Thanks, Brian
