Post subject: Back up battery in iMac G3

We just had a short (15 minute) power outage and I had to reset the date and
time on my iMac G3. According to the Mac help I should take it to an
authorized dealer. But.........has anyone replaced one of these? I don't
think it could be that hard. And where do I find one of whatever kind of
battery it takes?

A good battary source is Radio Shack. They stock the Pram battary for a
9600!<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

I think it's been the exact same battery since the days of the
