Here we go some Newbie q's

1 How do i recharge a wand.
2 When I cast range spells my casters walk to the spot i designate and
then let their spells off. This means that they are always detonating
at ground zero and frying themselves. How do I get them to cast range
spells at a range. They do this with wands as well.

Is this Baldur's Gate 1 or 2?
In 2 you can sell a wand to a shop and then buy it back (for a lot of
money, or steal it) and it will have maxed out charges. Also in BG2,
I was having the same problem with casting ranged spells. Turns out
the characters I had problem with had been struck BLIND! Check and
see if your chars are blind and use some curative spells to fix them.

However, for whatever reason (probably a bug) when I had this problem,
my chars didnt show up as blind in the game. I had to use a game
editor (I used Near Infinity for OS X) to discover and fix this. hope
