I'm running OS X 10.4.11 on a Macbook Pro.

How do I change the notation on the built-in calculator?

RPN is turned off, and the calculator is set to basic mode.

So why does 20 * 50 = 1e+03 instead of just 1000?

Thanks! -c

What's Precision set to (under the View menu)? By default it's at 12.
