My IBook is just about one-year old. I don't use it as my main
computing source. I've probably used it fewer than 10 hours since I've
had it. Since the day I bought it the battery life has been in
question. After a full charge I never seemed to get more than two
hourts of use. I don't have any periferrals other than a zip drive. In
the past year the battery life seemed to get weaker and weaker.
Finally, the battery will hold no charge at all now. I have to use the
adapter or can't use this machine at all. Apple techs told me to reset
the Power Manager and I did with no change. They will probably replace
the battery. Anyone else with similar problem?

Hold Option-Command-O-P at restart or power on.

O.F. as in open Firmware.
