Is there anyone here in the United Kingdom who takes broadband from
Macace, and is able to tell me how reliable and good it is? Thanks

Never heard of it - presumably this is a "Mac" company. But what
difference does that make?

I'm hoping to buy a G5 iMac at the end of the month. My local Mac
dealer offers a broadband service of £15.99 a month @ 512 kbps. It
looked a good deal, especially as he offers this deal to mac users
only, and makes a big point of saying no to Windows users. It seemed
that at this price, it was a good deal. But I am unable to find
anyone using this sevice, so it might not be as good as it looks. I
thought it would be worthwhile to ask here. Thanks.

I use their ordinary dial up service ocassionally. I would use them as
my broadband provider but I live in the Hull area which basically means
that I have to go with Kingston Communications for my broadband since
there are no BT lines here (and a good thing too!).

As a dial up ASP they are fine. Never had a problem connecting, their
information is very good and they are helpful. However many non-Mac
specific ISPs now have Mac setups at their site and unless you want
something special line FileMaker hosting etc almost any service should
be OK.
