Hi, I just got the above Borther all-in-one (it was the smallest unit I
could find & it supports both Classic & OS X).
While in general it works as advertised I find that printing in the
higher-quality modes becomes very, very slow. To get really good graphics
onto normal paper it looks like one needs "superfine" quality, & this
takes forever. It actually seems like a software issue; the machine keeps
pausing betwen stripes.
The scanner is also not a speed-demon, although this may be due to the USB
connection's being slower than my old SCSI scanner connection.
Anybody experienced the same thing? Any workaround (short of upgrading to a
2 GHz G5)? I do have the latest drivers (d/l'd last week from their website)
