In both Firefox and Safari, opening CNN.com will lead at regular
intervals to the banner loading another page into the middle of the
banner and then those load another page into their banners, et cetera.
Eventually the loading becomes continuous and the application fails.
For now I've taken CNN out of my news tabs.
I wrote CNN about it near the end of the Sox game last night.
What is a better fix?

TIA

It's the Curse of the Bambino again. Root for the Yankees.

LOL. Thanks I needed a chuckle. I've invested hours into looking for an
answer.

I now have a headache from the screen shot change in OS X. It's a PDF.
What happened to being a graphic?

They are at <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://homepage.mac.com/gotermite/FileSharing1.html" target="_blank">http://homepage.mac.com/gotermite/FileSharing1.html</a> so folks
can see what I mean. The Mac browsers are seem to try to load CNN into
three windows on the main page.

Any one will do. They are all pretty much the same thing.

<snip> nice illustration

The screen shot is indeed in a pdf file format but can be easily converted to
various image file formats.
While you are in Preview looking at a .pdf file go to File--->Export--->Format
dropdown menu, and
select image file formats like .jpg, tiff, etc.
