This is a message for those who feel their character wants to be
proactively "good" as defined by an alignment system. I'll apologies
ahead of time for bruising several excessively large egos ahead of
time and stepping on toes or hurting someone's feelings. In light of
recent events, I'm making my stance known. For those who don't care
and regard this as prattle, skip it, delete it, whatever. Flame if
want (and will) or spin the words however, I don't care.

If a GM or GM Assistant tries to tell you who my characters were, It
_will_ be met with reprisal. I have less than nothing to lose.

If you wondering who am I. A good analogy is that I am a man who once
defended a diseased 82 year old gnoll* whore, under the illusion they
were a chased 20 year old elven Lady of splendorous beauty. It could
be said that I've seen through the illusion, and have long since left.

CL is bent to support evil and morally neutral characters. In CL,
evil is pretty much monolithic, justice is nonexistent, righteousness
is repressed with a fascist glee. It is or has become a story meant
for those who do not care about the concepts of good and evil, merely
socialization and socialism, personal advancement, and intrigue.

Clanlord has a nasty case of soul-cancer that no amount of indignant
flaming can repair and complaints fall on deaf ears because the Game
Masters are never wrong due to "personal enlightenment through age and
experience." The Game Masters are centrists and won't help you even if
you use channels, and the mechanics don't and will _never_effectively_
exist for character or player accountability.

It's in the arcs of it's drawn out death-spiral. I suggest if your
sensibilities are repulsed by wholesale selfishness, if eventually you
want fulfilling glorious stories, a potential to develop characters
who revel in evil's destruction and has the ability to "Do Something
About It" (whatever It might be), go elsewhere as you'll not find it
here. You'll only find the makings of a bizarre tragedy and
heartbreak.

So if you are so determined to continue, eventually the only method to
correct this is to leave, and take your subscription money with you.
Use your newfound savings to buy a good book where the heroes aren't
overly glorified robber-knights and mercenaries akin to El Cid.

The seasons have turned unto winter. It's time to let go, and grow.

Hello Hidden.

And so you know,Hidden works with Jeanne on several projects, trying
to screw you over with more useless crap. Oddly enough, the both of
them work together as a team to also release spoilers. Odd.

This is certainly news to me. I was unaware of any projects I work on,
considering that I haven't played outside of very specific hours in over
half a year and have generally lost interest in the game.

I thought "Charlie who writes long posts no one can figure out" being
the name of the person who played Leogic as a fact many people already
figured out from your many posts not only in Usenet but other locations
as well.

As to working on several projcts with Hidden, I don't know what you're
talking about. Even if I were, I don't think I would do so just to screw
people over with more useless crap. I also don't know what spoilers
you're talking about. Does Clan Lord even have spoilers anymore?

Well, every time he's made an extremely half-assed try to post
"anonymously" using his real name on a CL forum (presumably to avoid the
fact that everybody knows Leogic is a moron) I've outed him. I suppose
that might be a "spoiler", in that it spoiled his credibility.

Curiosity as to just what the hell kind of reprisal we're talking about
almost made me read the rest of this post.

....But then I decided I was too lazy to do even that much, let alone try
to figure out who it might be, then post the answer, then wait to see
what happened.

Helpful "learned laziness from Joe, but I'm still the student, he's the
master" GM ;)

Don't worry as you didn't miss anything. Charlie has moments of clarity
but this wasn't one of them.

My my, in hindsight it does sound rather harsh, threatening, and
angry. Oh well, It's no longer important.

Too bad the Selkel and the Zelkill, HV, LK, the vareity of quests, and
all that wonderful story our group dreamed up will never see the light
of day. You worked so hard on the Selkel caves. All that content gone
to pot, but I hoped you got better with the Clae, in the end.

Scraping content for parts wasn't all that new a practice for CL
Admins I guess. The Gerag Cave, it's a sham compared to what the dev
group had planned for that entry snell. It's a pity, HV it woulda'
been a nice place to play in, but now it's all ash on the wind.

Live and learn.

Hey hey, now. Don't feel so bad. Lot's of folks wake up with a bad
hangover and...well, you know, some pretty ladies lose a bit of their
glow when you take away the beer.

My God man, what the Hell was that? Honestly, I've seen good
intelligent posts from you, but your Signal to Noise ratio in that last
post was very low.

Please feel free to post about Clan Lord even though (from my
understanding) you no longer play. But, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE write
something we can read and interpret without medication.

Thank you.
