Just wanted to thank Pogue and friends for holding what, for me anyway,
was a really fun contest. I hope more stuff like this is done!

The highlight for me had to be when I was fallen behind a tree and saw
Michael frantically running by in the passes of Noth on yellow...
followed shortly thereafter by Knucklehead logging on. Hehe. Sorry,
couldn't resist. :-D

You don't need portals to do stuff like that.

It's good to explore all the tools available, possibly adding spice to a
familiar pastime.

I missed it all so its nice to hear you had fun. I know from reading all
PMF's emails before the event that some people in PMF worked hard on it.

But I smell a rat. I mean two of PM's old pals (PMOP?), Michael and Gurgi,
took all the prices. I think the fix was in. :-)

It's good to see a side of things other than one selected specifically
to gripe about.

Gurgi may have been the first through the portal on that first contest,
but there was a good cooperative group with him and we had a pretty big
hint after awhile that helped us. If he kept the entire 2k that's not
really fair to the rest of us in that group that crossed the portal
right behind him. Gurgi's a pretty sporting fellow who likely doesn't
need money like those of us who can't clan much do.. maybe he'll share.

*shrug*

I was actually fallen for well over an hour. I was drifting for a while
before Lori raised me.

And Farhope took the money on Gurgis behalf to share with the rest of
you.

It was a fun contest too. A contest that ran over 2 hours came down to
a 30 second difference in who won. I liked Malkors added PvP bonus.
Killed me some nice juicy healers.

Thanks to those in PMF that put the contest on.

No, but there isnt any harm in doing it either. I see using the portals
for games as just fine. PMF and the contestants even moved them back
when we were finished.

I dont think thats all they should used for either. They are of course
an extreamly useful tool. I hope they will be used for both things.

Gurgi sent Farhope to collect his prize and distribute it. He said it was a
group effort. I will have a webpage up in a couple days with some pictures,
etc.

Neat thanks! It was really funny when we were getting close and suddenly
Gurgi yells, "OKay I quit the group.. going it on my own, was fun thanks
a bunch folks!"... hehe.. knowing full well he could have easily done it
too and been there first... even though he was first anyway etc. It's
considerate when the "big guys" keep us "small fry" in mind also. :-)
