PORTAL ALERT PLEASE READ
For this week's Foothills trip we will be moving the PURPLE portal to
Camp Dred (and possibly beyond) for the duration of the trip. When the
trip is over we will move the PURPLE portal back to Falinea's Garden.
So expect the PURPLE portal to be in the Foothills on Thursday,
October 23 from roughly:
Noon EDT to 8 PM EDT
9 AM PDT - 5 PM PDT
6 PM CEST - 2 AM CEST (Central European Summer Time) (+2)
Those attending the trip are still expected to be on time, those times
being:
5:30pm GMT/UTC
6:30pm BST (British Summer Time) (+1)
7:30pm/19:30 CEST (Central European Summer Time) (+2)
1:30pm EDT (Eastern Daylight time) (-4)
12:30pm CDT (Central Daylight Time) (-5)
10:30am PDT (Pacific Daylight Time) (-7)
Please make sure you read the tactics page and the rest of my
information so you know whats going on:
http://fundin.puddleby.info/fh_index.html
Because we will be using the portals those attending can simply meet
in Camp Dred by taking the Green Portal (in Falinea's Garden) to the
Purple Portal (in Camp Dred) OR by taking the Purple Mirror in the
Cloud to the Purple Portal (in Camp Dred). Please wait in Camp Dred
until the trip starts. Do not wander away and get killed.
Once the trip gets going we *might* drag the Purple Portal with us to
the Noids areas so late arrivals can catch up and badly fallens can be
brought back to town for healing if necessary. If you are a late
arrival please sunstone me to see if the Purple Portal is in a
position where you can catch up.
Finally, we ask that nobody interfere with the portals during the
brief period of time we will be using them. They will be returned to
Falinea's Garden after the trip. Thank you. >> Stay informed about: CL portal alert |

| Taryn and I have been talking and as a result I have come to the conclusion
that this is also something I must object to. I'm not sure I will take action
against it yet if I plan to I will say so soon. But, I wanted to try and open
dialog with you Fundin to see if I could talk you out of including the portals.

Thus showing that scheduling was never the issue.

So you are deciding to be Portal Warden now. Won't it be fun for people to
start suing PM members while they are attempting to hunt. If you want to
start harrassing large segments of the public, then expect harrassment in
return. Mabe i'll start playing more again, just to help in the war on the
self proclaimed Portal Warden.

Taking the portal with us is a GREAT idea. It would significantly
help, especially toward the end of the trip. If you do not like the
idea, please take a breather, and DEAL WITH IT!

Klur,
I see little difference between us using the portals to shortcut the
Foothills trip to you using them to shortcut the Noth route for the
Hide and Seek game.
I have no objections to you or other exiles using the portals like
this so long as exiles are informed in advance.
Im afraid that as much as i understand your views i dont share them,
and will still be using the portals on the Foothills trip on Thursday.
I ask that you dont interfere in this plan the same as no-one
interfered in your portal games.
Thank you.

So what is your issue this time? Fundin has provided those items that
you have suggested are appropriate to utilize the portal. He provided
advanced notification. He is not planning to use the portal for a
period exceeding 3 days (he will not even be using it a full day).
In all likelyhood they will be out of the foothills area before the PM
group even starts clanning.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ --> >> Stay informed about: CL portal alert |

Fundin,
Unfortunatly I feel I must try to prevent the use of the portal in the ways
you have planned. I'm working on organizing resources to make it possible.

This is outrageous and an insult to Puddleby and its fine citizens.
There were people who "objected" to you tying up the portals for your
little "game", but those objectors held back because you were setting a
precedent. You announced your intentions ahead of time and asked that
people bear with your time and use of said portals. You cannot decide
suddenly to behave like an ass because you object somehow. It is no
longer your right to decide how the portal can and cannot be used. If
you want to be the police, join your local neighborhood crime watch and
walk your beat. Leave the good citizens of Puddleby alone. Get a life.

Then you open the door for every exile to interfere with *your* (or
PM's) use of them.

And with his pet mystic I am sure he will be able to. To bad there isnt
anything Fundin can do to stop him.
Its not player conflict if there is no conflict. The will be another
example of PM messing with other peoples fun and them being powerless to
stop it.
