Sure did. They were helpful, but each card had it's positives and
negatives. So I thought I d ask for a few more viewpoints, especially
since many of the cards are only available secondhand anyway, which
changes things somewhat.

Hey thanks! They ship internationally and for a reasonable cost. I may
very well give them a try. Has anyone else had experience with this
outfit? What is their tech support like?

I would try to get a new eMac instead of going for one of the iMac CPU
upgrades, if at all possible. I think it makes little sense to spend
$200-300 to put a faster CPU in an old iMac, but still be left with very
old video chipset, slower system bus, older/smaller/slower hard drive,
15" screen, &c.
