During our link we get a linker error from CW that states that it can not
copy a resource file and the link fails. I checked the status of the file
and it is not read-only. This project builds fine on 5 other macs but this
particular mac and one other one in our office fails with this error. Any
hints would be appreciated.
- mac OSX 10.2.6 (6L60) ... 867 MHz
"Link Error: Can't copy resource file 'someresources.rsrc'."
thanks in advance.

All I can think of is to open it with FileBuddy or resorcerer or
something and see if it has all the right settings and types for
resource.
Oh wait one other thing, is the folder hierarchy the same, it could be
a problem with the path name, I've seen that before in finding files.

This sounds familiar it rings a bell but I can't nail it down. I'll
ask around on it. Something about CVS and resource files.

It's not unlikely that this resource file was checked out or copied using a
tool that doesn't handle resource forks, so it doesn't have one. Unix tools
like cp do not copy resource forks on HFS+ volumes; use CpMac or ditto. In
its native mode CVS doesn't handle resource forks, etiher, but some users
may have configured it to do so, and others not.
