Post subject: CW debugger always steps in
Archived from groups: comp>sys>mac>programmer>codewarrior (more info?)

I'm running CodeWarrior 10 under Mac OS X 10.4.11 on a PowerMac G5.
Now whenever I debug, I can do some stepping and then it gets into a
state where no matter which "go" operation I do (step over, step in,
step out, run) it just steps in. So pretty soon I'm stepping through
system calls one instruction at a time so I basically have to kill it
and start over. Does anybody know what causes this and, more
importantly, how to fix it?

8.2 debugger STILL doesn't work - I specifically upgraded from 8.0 to 8.2 because the debugger stopped working when I upgraded to 10.2.6. The behavior used to be a neverending spinning pinwheel cursor. Guess what? Exactly the same freaking behavior. What on Earth do I have to do to..
