In the TCP/IP control panel you should select Ethernet in the "Connect
via" dropdown menu. If that isn't shown as an option, possibly one or
the Open Transport extensions is missing or damaged.
You also have to select one or more volumes and check the "Share this
item" checkbox in the Get Info dialog.
