I am trying to connec to MAC computer OS X to a windows XP workstation on a
network. The workstation has a shared printer attached to it. When I go to
Prtinter setup and using the Default Browser setup window, I can see the
computer on the network, however, when I double click on the workstatiion no
printers show. I have been able to do this on other networks but cannot on
this on.

Any suggestions?

You don't mention what model of printer you're using but I would assume
that it's probably an Inkjet or Deskjet type printer. Windows computers
are able to share their drivers with other networked Windows computers
and Macs can do the same, but Macs and Windows can not share these
drivers with each other.

If you're feeling adventurous you can try something like Redmon
<http://iharder.sourceforge.net/current/macosx/winmacprinter/> to set up
a work around on your Windows system that may allow your Mac to print. I
successfully used this to allow a Mac OS X system to print through a
Windows 2000 system connected to a Canon Bubblejet printer. Getting it
set up is not for the faint of heart but not difficult.

Hope this helps! bill
