hi,

I've just made a little web-app today to convert iTunes Song Lists and Smart
Playlists into formats compatible with other music players (e.g. WinAmp,
MusicMatch, and portable devices). It will only convert xml into m3u playlists
right now, but other formats will be available soon.

It's here: http://www.davidlomas.com/playlistconverter/

Let me know if you find it useful or can think of ways to make it better.

TIA,

PSB.

As a PC user with an iPod mini I find this utility very useful. Thanks for
making it! Any chance of adding an option to strip the #EXTINF file so you
end up with a file with only the file paths?

Also, the file didn't put each 'line' of info on its own line. I had to
open it in Winamp and re-save it to get a file with the carriage returns
recognized. I guess that could be because of the difference between PC and
MAC format?

Thanks for the feedback Ped,

An option to include or exclue #EXTINF data has been added, line feeds also
fixed.

I noticed a problem just now - it won't download a file using IE on a Mac,
does anyone else have this problem?
Anyone have any clues why it works using IE on a PC but not Mac?

Thanks,
