How do I copy a picture from a webpage and paste it into a word document on a Mac? Copy Paste does not work.

Also how do I make this file usable on a PC?

In your browser (Safari, Firefox) right-click the picture and see if you can
Save Image. If this doesn't work then in Firefox you can View Image and
then save it most of the time.

Save the picture to your hard drive somewhere you will find it, like in
Dowloads or Documents. Then you can insert it into your Word document in
the usual way.

Your Word document will open on a PC if the PC has Word installed.

I usually just drag it from the browser to Word.

Or you can save the picture to your HD, then insert it in your doc.

Save it as a .doc or .docx file.

Thanks, I’ll try the drag and drop bit as well as saving the picture. One further question Malke. How do you right click with a Mac?

Last time I used the drag and drop technique, the pictures were not readable by my PC. The problem is that I have a Macbook at home and a PC in my classroom. I want to be able to create documents at home and them use them on my smartboard school.

You can CTRL-click. And all modern Macs work natively with two-button
mice.
