Post subject: Dial up telecom software for Macs
Archived from groups: alt>sys>mac>newuser-help (more info?)

I received an e-mail from someone who wants information about how to use
her iMac to dial into the Ocean State Free Net. The free net is a real
basic text only internet service, but it does provide e-mail and simple
web text only access. I used OSFN when I had an Apple IIe and then a
IIGS using ProTerm as my terminal emulator. I know that ProTerm had a
Macintosh version, but does it work on a G3?

Is there any free apps that will do the job?

Thanks, John
