yes, you say we can check this option in prefs and it will sync...

Fact is, like in 2004, you are failing miserably at this and once again, as a premium consultant, with hundreds of mac based companies under my care, i must sadly report to them... utter, bitter, failure!!!????

what did you spend the development money on?
just the pretty GUI?

You're not talking to Microsoft here. You're talking to other users just
like you. Preaching to the choir...

Send Microsoft your feedback and frustrations using their website:

Yes true! But Microsoft does monitor forums and feedback from their
technical support to identify trends and prioritize critical issues.
The more that they see how affecting this is, the better. Now in terms
of how fast they can fix it - well its anybody's guess at this point
as it didn't work well in 2004 and it doesn't work at all in 2008 so
where's the progress. Also, in talking to Microsoft many times now,
the Engineer at Markspace (Missing Sync) and Apple's sync services
team, this doesn't sound like a simple fix due to the multi-layers
that's going on. But who knows. We're all crossing our fingers.

Its greatly impacted the way I work too as I just had to give up on
Entourage and use iCal and Addressbook until this is fixed but
Entourage is just so much more powerful - thus a hole in how I do my
work.

I'm right there with you Kerry. That is really throwing a wrench in my work. The project feature is major for me. But not being able to sync my callendar is killing it. I, like you, have gone back to ical and mail.

I started with the home version and won't upgrade until this is fixed. The other programs are good but Entourage is what I needed most. .

Yes it sounds like we work quite similarly and have thus been impacted
in the same fashion. iCal and Addressbook is alright as a stop gap
measure but doesn't cut it in any way due to the lack of power that
one finds in Entourage (categories, linking, sophisticated searches,
projects etc).
