In Workbook 1 I have a column of numbers. In Woorkbook 2 I have the
identical column of numbers. When I change the numbers in Workbook 1
how can I set it up so that the numbers in Workbook 2 change
automatically.

I know how to do it if I am in the same workbook and automatically
change numbers from sheet 1 and sheet 2( use an = sign) but I don't
know how to get it to work going from workbook 1 to workbook 2.

Hi Gene,

You're on the right track. Just pretend that there is one workbook. In
Workbook #2 type an = sign in a cell then click into the corresponding cell
in Workbook #1. You can then drag to fill in the rest of the cells.

This creates a link between the two workbooks that will remain as long as
the file path to both workbooks remains the same.
