Fans running uncontrollably

Hello everyone,

Question concerning Macbook Pro fans. Lately after my computer has
been running for roughly 10 min the fans kick on full speed and the
computer gets very hot. I have not made many significant changes to
the system lately. Is there a way to check which programs are running
and possibly using up the resources on the system. (something similar
to alt ctrl delete and task resources on windoze) Thanks

Use the Activity Monitor application in /Applications/Utility to monitor
the behavior of tasks and kill them off as desired.
