Hello all - I've got a script that uploads the selected file in the
finder to a specified ftp space I own.

What I want to do is, after the file is uploaded, the full URL is
copied to the clipboard or put in a new text file so that I can easily
put it in an email to a client -- heck, it could open a new email.

I've got some idea of AppleScript, but I don't know how to "get the
name" of the item i'm working with in the finder;

help!

dt

How the hell can you script an upload if you don't have the name of the
item you're working with in the Finder?

Post your code, please.
