I have a StreetPilot 2610 which works fine over USB with MapSource
(currently v6.5) in VPC 6.1.1 (running Windoze 98).
I had lots of problems originally, but reinstalling the USB drivers from
Garmin and updating the MapSource software (all free downloads from the
Garmin site) sorted things out.
I've also been able to flash upgrade the GPS unit software itself, but
couldn't get an update of the voice pack working.
It's still slooooow transferring maps though...
