Post subject: HP C3100 connected to Windows XPP
Archived from groups: comp>sys>mac>printing (more info?)

I have a Windows XPP machine with an HP Photosmart C3100 hanging off of it.
I have enabled printer sharing on the XPP. On my Mac iBook (which connects
wirelessly over 802.11), I have located the HP printer, but there are no
specific drivers for it. I've tried the included photosmart drivers, but
they donšt work properly. My questions are:

1. Is there another driver that would allow me to print from the iBook?
2. If not, is there a way to make this USB only printer accessible from the
802.11 or bluetooth wireless network? (It's attached to a hardwired XPP
server, so running another ethernet cable isn't likely to happen)

THANKS!
