I have a HP LaserJet 1100 that connects via scsi (another great innovation
by HP) and can't get it to work with my mac G3 running 9.1 and an adaptec
scsi card.....

Anyone ever got it to work before or should I scrap it and get something
else?

No, it doesn't connect via SCSI, it has a parallel port. Unfortunately,
the parallel port on a PC is identical in appearance to the SCSI II port
on a Mac.

You could use a parallel-to-USB cable if there's a drive to support the
printer via that connection.
