Help! Strange printing problem

Excuse my long-winded question but I have exhausted all my limited
knowledge and I need some help. I am using a 17" Imac. I have set up 3
printers in Print Center. One is an HP inkjet on the USB port, one is
an HP LaserJet 4P on the printer port of my router and the last is
another HP inkjet on a Windows machine on my network. If I go to the
built-in CUPS page at http://127.0.0.1:631/ I can print a test page to
all of the printers so I am assuming that I have them set up correctly.
However, I cannot print to anything but the USB printer from any other
application. Print Center lets me select any of the printers and when
I tell it to print it acts like everything is fine. The job spools to
the printer (but not really) and nothing happens. Print Center says
there are no jobs pending and apparently the job just goes into limbo.
I also have an Ibook that is set up the same way and it works fine to
all the printers. What am I missing here? When I originally set it up
it worked once or twice but not anymore. Thanks for any help anyone can
provide.

There are discussion threads about these kind of problems at
