Yeah, I know, it's doofy, but I want to dump all my paperwork and get
them into PDFs.

I just got a Canon Lide 20 and it worked great right out of the box.
(shock!). I haven't used any of the software except for the Photoshop
plugin (right to the source, y'know).

Anyway. for things like receipts, records, bills, and so on, what's an
easy way to go? I've scanned a few dox in 150 dpi, and saved them as
PDFs in Photoshop. Not too bad, but the process could probably be
refined, I guess.

The goals are: simplicity, moderately small PDFs, burn to CD, color and
mono documents both, online reading, occasional printing on Epson
inkjet and LaserWriter 320.

I'm sure there are lots of people who have gone this way before, with a
cheap scanner like this. Any advice? TIA.
