Archived from groups: comp>sys>mac>hardware>video (more info?)

I have one of these (A.K.A. Sony SCC-F59G-A), and it looks pretty good,
but the image is tilted.

I t does not have a "rotate" button/control on the front panel, and I
cannot find a pot so labeled anywhere inside.

I know it has a rotate coil and I know that it is connected to some
circuitry on the board that sits in the "bottom" of the monitor. The
connector on the cable to that coil is labeled "ROT" and when I unplug
it, the image rotates -- the wrong way.

How do I adjust the current in the coil?

Does anybody have a schematic to share?

I could just build a variable current source, but I'd like to know how
it *should* be done.

thx, Isaac
