A designer created a bunch of custom Word document templates (.dot) on
a PC using Word 2001 for a client of ours. The templates use low
resolution images for the headers & footers. When the files are emailed
to me, and I copy them to my desktop the file sizes stay the same. But
when I open a file using Word 2002, and I "save as", the file size
approx. triples in size - going from 600KB to 3 MB.
Can anyone help, please?
