SJ refers to a pdf file that in turn refers to a patch which makes a
Windows 98 CD bootable. That patch was available from Connectix,
which is no longer in business. The idiots at Microsoft claim not to
know anything about the patch. From the pdf text referred to by SJ, I
infer that the patch is a file named "win98ebd.vfd". I have no idea
what this file is, nor can I find any reference to it on the Microsoft
support pages. Can someone provide me with a copy of this patch, or a
site from which it can be downloaded? You can reply to me offline
(madelman@usuhs.mil) if you wish. Thanks in advance! MRA
