I have installed VPC 6.1 and upgraded to VPC 6.1.1 on my ibook g4. I
got to the black screen of the Windows XP home with the message that I
need to install the OS. I put in windows CD in and I don't know what
to do next. The instructions with Virtual PC is very very incomplete.

I went to the capture floppy image and the capture CD image and I
don't find anything to start the install?????

Can anyone help?

Do you have a real Windows cd-rom, or a Windows cd-rom that came with
VPC?

The Windows CD that came with VPC can't be manually installed.

If you have a real Windows cd, its installed the same way you would on
a real PC. If you need step-by-step directions, get the PDF for
Installing OSes from my website. Its for VPC6, but its accurate
enough.
