But if Airport and other 802.11 systems work identically, then my setup
should not be working - but it does. I had an issue with the "Ethernet
Emulator" failing on VPC startup, but this was cured by reinstalling VPC.
I will say this though - I might have created the issue by constantly
switching from the Ethernet cable back and forth with the MacSense card, but
now that I've redone the hard drive and set up the computer from scratch,
it's working fine, and I'm using the card exclusively.
This is using Virtual Switch, MacSense and a Linksys Wireless router (in two
locations). I've also had it running in an internet café too. And on an
unsupported machine to boot.
