VPC 6 Internet connection Via DSL??

Would someone please give me the rundown on how you configure Virtual
PC 6 to get online
using earthlink DSL. I'm using VPC 6.1- OSX 10.2.6. on a dual
processor quicksilver running wirelessly with a airport card
installed. Please walk me thru step by step and Ill pass it on.

I have the same setup as you.

(1. how do your Macs get their IP addresses?, DHCP from Airport Base
Station, or another source)

2. Setup VPC 6.1 as follows, Preferences, and set Virtual Switch to Airport.

3. Next goto the settings for Guest OS in VPC and set Network to Virtual
Switch

4. In Windows right click network places (or whatewver its called)
Properties, again right click on the Earthlink LAN connection or
whatever there is and Properties, choose Internet TCPIP properties and
make sure that Obtain IP Address automatically is set.

5. Reboot Window on Virtual PC, and it should use the Airport connection
to talk to your DHCP server and get a IP address the same as your Mac.

6. (If you macs are not using DHCP and are using fixed IP addresses you
will need to setup your Windows box with the appropriate IP address and
subnet masks.
