All, Have been lurking for 'bout a month and haven't seen this topic addressed. Nothing in help files about read or delivery receipts. Is it something I should settle to do without? No other app can do it either without the consent of the receiving party. I would never configure my e-mail software to send back a confirmation that I had read or even received any e-mail from anyone. If you really want that functionality, I suggest simply sending a second e-mail or a quick phone call to ask if the first e-mail had been seen. -- K. Delivery receipts are a bad idea for any number of reasons for very little gain. I hope that Mail.app will never encourage their use. I made a script that allows you to create single messages with receipt notification requests with no need to set it globally via Terminal and quitting/relaunching Mail. I use it personally and works well. I'll post it on my site (www.jaw.it) next week.
