Hello-

I'm running Office 2004 for Mac on Leopard and running into a time glitch. I've created an excel file and have the time listed in multiple cells. When I have the document open, the time is fine. But, when I save it and use the Apple Preview function built into Leopard (pressing Spacebar in Finder) my times are listed as 2 hours ahead of the time I entered into the cell. But if I re-open my spreadsheet, the information listed is as I typed it in.

For example in cell A1 I enter 5:00 PM, in Preview I see the time I entered as 7:00 PM. When I open the document in Excel, I see the actual time I entered.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks in advance!

This is apparently a known bug - it's also on the Apple fora.

Since Quicklook doesn't actually use XL to render .xls or .xlsx files -
it uses a plugin (qlgenerator file) to create an html rendering - I'm
not sure whether the problem is with Apple or MS.
