I had my AE installed with 10.4, and upgraded to Leopard. I haven't
had any reason to run the utility in a while, I fired it up just now
after reading your post.
It doesn't ask me to upgrade firmware, and it doesn't have any
difficult finding and configuring the router. I am running Airport
Utility 5.2.2, and it works fine. The base station Version reported is
7.2.1.
I haven't had even a slight hiccup with the AE since the first day I
installed it, and certainly none as a result of Leopard.
