I have gotten all flavors of Xandros to run. Freespire and Redhat have run
without issue under VPC7. Ubuntu there is a work around to get this to run.
Scan for Ubuntu and VPC (not just Mac) and you will find it. Someone at
work got it to run under VPC. He said that he had to follow the
instructions exactly to get through the screen problem.

Any Linux will work as long as you don't use 24bit color. Thats the
problem with Ubuntu

Xandros Open Circulation is free as is FreeSpire. Just do a Web Search for
Ubuntu and VPC and you'll see how to install it under VPC.

By choosing 16-bit or 32-bit color depth during installation or by editing a
configuration file. It depends on the distro.

I did a quick search and found this. What I have found that VPC 7 and VPC
2007 for Windows behave pretty much the same way so these instructions
should work for you also on the Mac.
