It seems some dreamers (at lest one) think so:

Even on my lo-mid PC (Athlon 2000+ and GF 4200), it does not run very
well. I'm not sure it would be any good on a G5.

BTW, the PC demo is out and there's a mission with an A-10! It reminds
me of the great fun I had playing with A-10 Attack and then A-10 Cuba
on my not so funny Performa 5200. These sims were really amazing in
95/96... Unfortuantely these were the last sims for the Mac (almost -
except F/A-18 Hornet and Korea 3).

I miss this community alot (though I was more a reader than a
writer)... See you guys!

Running VPC you'll see maybe .1-.2 of the performance of a native
program. That G5 would be comparable to a Pentium 3 from 4 years ago.

VPC won't run at all on a G5.

Which means, based on my experience, that it is functionally equivalent to a
3-year old PIII.

Go figure.
