Hi. The Mac Mini only has 32MB of VRAM. Is that really enough to drive
the Apple Cinema Display 20" model at its native resolution, at
millions of colors? Thanks.

Yep. I have a friend with a Mini and an Apple 20" Cinema Display.
Works fine for him.

My response is late (G. Buchner responded earlier), but on the face of
it, 32 MB of VRAM is amply sufficient. The specs stated on Apple's
website are: 1680 x 1050 at 16.7 million colors (i.e. 24 bit color).

The video memory required would be:
1680 x 1050 x 24 = 42336000 bits = 5292000 bytes (at 8 bits/byte)
5292000 bytes = 5.05 megabytes (approx.)

Off course, G. Buchner's practical knowledge of this combination
working is far more useful than any theoretical consideration!
