My response is late (G. Buchner responded earlier), but on the face of
it, 32 MB of VRAM is amply sufficient. The specs stated on Apple's
website are: 1680 x 1050 at 16.7 million colors (i.e. 24 bit color).
The video memory required would be:
1680 x 1050 x 24 = 42336000 bits = 5292000 bytes (at 8 bits/byte)
5292000 bytes = 5.05 megabytes (approx.)
Off course, G. Buchner's practical knowledge of this combination
working is far more useful than any theoretical consideration!
